the biggest festival of the year in Fukuoka
and here we are, me, Jason, Sena. we are here to witness it
Morning race: men from Hakata's seven districts race through the streets carrying decorative, one-ton floats, shouting "Oisa! Oisa!~". Spectators, shout along and splash them with water. I would too, if I could get my hands on a pail. It was a wet festival and I decided not to take my camera along. Hence, all photos kindly sponsored by Jason.
